You can definitely pursue Bachelors in fashion designing and merchandising after class 12th from arts. Fashion designing is the art of the application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories. And it has surely come as a boon for those willing to make their career in the same. And of course you can make a career in the same even if from commerce background. Because your own interest, abilities and caliber means a lot and doing something in which you can make use of these three, can definitely get you success as self content is most important.
As we all know that people are becoming more and more conscious about their clothing and looks due to which the scope is increasing continuously and more and more opportunities are availed in the fashion market . Job placements are also very good if you do this course from a good college or you can join a fashion designer or designing house and begin with doing the menial work . Yes, you can pursue Diploma in Fashion Designing and BBA together from different colleges provided you are pursuing Diploma through distance mode.
The basic understanding should be the need to curb a successful career.
Fashion designing is one of the most lucrative and appealing career options.
If you have a penchant for creativity, style and originality, a career in fashion designing is the one tailor made for you.
However, it is also a demanding career, as fashion designers need to combine their creativity with managerial skills to sustain in this industry.
On the other hand, BBA assists the student in understanding and developing the unique leadership qualities required for successfully managing business functions, an organizational unit or an enterprise.
While this course provides an overview of business management in a nutshell, it doesn't offer much scope by itself, unless you follow it up with a good MBA.
If you think that you can build a great career, then you can pursue both the courses together.
However, I would suggest you to understand your caliber, consider your strength and your area of interest while choosing the right career option for yourself.
