Hi Renjith,
Any creative course needs time and dedication , it's totally a practical work and hence you cannot learn it by correspondence. If you are seriously thinking about pursuing your career in that direction then I would suggest you to carry it on regular and full time basis.

Yes you can. NIFT also offers various courses like textile design, fashion n communication etc . Even NID has few great courses on industrial design.

Eligibility-
Candidates must have passed the CBSE/ISC/IB (or any other equivalent board) 10+2 examination in any discipline
Admission Procedure-
The IIAD follows a two-step evaluation procedure for admission to its courses. Candidates will have to clear :
The IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT)A comprehensive interview and portfolio assessment before our panel of art and design professionals
Duration- 4 Years, Full Time, Under Graduate Degree
