I would encourage you to look at the entire field of design at this stage. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. The world has changed a lot and a lot of new and wonderful careers in design have come up. Sometimes student artists are too much enamored by fine arts preventing them to look objectively at design.
Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. Similarly in design the cutting edge areas are UID/ UXD, 3D printing, immersive technology, augmented r

Its good that you're targeting UPES for your M.Des. UPES is one of the best when it comes to pursue your career in the field of design. All of its M.Des specializations are good. Forms are already out and last date to apply for UPES-DAT is 10th of January, so hurry up. Test is from 19 to 21 January, 2016 & Interviews and Presentation of Portfolio is on: 28-29 January, 2016 in New DelhI. Below is the eligbility criteria:
a) Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary Level (10th & 12th).
b) B. Tech / BE in any discipline / B. Arch / BFA 4 years / B. Des / Interior Design / Applied Arts with minimum 50% marks.
c) Valid CEED 20

You've chosen a pretty good field to make your career in. Design has plethora of opportunities and great career prospects. As far as design is concerned you can go for M.Des in Transportation design or M.Des Industrial Design, both are good. In case you've not completed your graduation yet then do B.Des first then further go for M.Des degree. Fee structure for these courses vary from college to college.

First of all you need to be clear on what kind of Automobile Designing course you are looking for. Automobile Design (where you design machine, engine, chassis etc.) or Automobile Design (Creative Design field). I can help you out with creative design field. Yes , you are eligible for Automobile Engineering after diplamo in EEE. I would suggest you to give LEET exam (Lateral Entry to Engineering Exam). You can directly join 2nd B.Tech after diploma.

Duration of test: 180 minutes (150 Questions)
