Candidates can join Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering (Chennai) through TNEA (Anna University counselling) based on Class 12 marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. 

Eligibility:

Minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or 45% for reserved categories)

Candidates must register online for TNEA counselling, fill in the choices for institutes of admission, and attend a document verification session afterwards. 

Management quota seats (35%) are also available but they are purely merit-based.

Yes, there are different scholarships provided by Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering to financially support the students. Some of them include merit scholarships, reservation category scholarships, and government-sponsored schemes. Merit scholarships are given to students who score high marks in their Higher Secondary Examination, for which fee concessions ranging from 15% to 100% are offered based on the marks percentage secured. The overall fees of the B.Tech courses at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering and Technology (DSCET), Chennai, is around INR 2,00,000 for the whole course. This is inclusive of tuition, laboratory, library, sports, and other academic-related charges. The fee for lateral entry students is a bit less at INR 1,50,000 for the whole course.

In order to qualify for B.E. / B.Tech from Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering, applicants are required to pass Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent with not less than 50% of aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. They need to have a separate passing mark in these three subjects as well. Applicants are required to be at least 17 years of age at the time of enrollment.
