For a career in Digital Marketing, you must go for MBA in Digital Marketing. Because a certification may help you get the job but not a fruitful career. So, it is advisable to do MBA in Digital Marketing. It would definitely help you in the long run and if you are pursuing MBA in marketing then it is an added advantage. Various companies even look for a candidate having additional knowledge in marketing and DM is one of that. So, best of luck for your future.

I would suggest MBA in digital marketing or marketing as this is always a better option than a Diploma. Digital marketing is just a small part of marketing so it's better if you choose marketing as the specialisation which covers all the aspects of marketing including digital marketing. Chetana's Institute of Management and Research is ranked amongst one of the top 6 institutes in Maharashtra and in top 23 institutes all over India for marketing.

Hi,
I'd recommend you do a complete marketing course and then within the specialisation, you could focus on the relevant subjects. While you're completing your MBA, you could do a specialised course in the digital or social media. On the overview, both are same, but it'll be better if you have a marketing degree with projects and courses on digital.

You have to be good in GD/PI for doing PGDM from SIES. GD/PI and entrance exam have equal weightage. So there is no such cutoff for any entrance exam.
