You did not tell about the state from which you wish to pursue the B.Tech course. So, first let me clear here that never do the BE/B.Tech from Distance/Correspondence/Open mode, because these degree are not valid as per AICTE guidelines. Hence, it is better to do B.Tech lateral course from state you belongs. The admission in B.Tech lateral are based on lateral entrance exam or merit (Marks obtained in 12th). Fee of all government engineering colleges is very reasonable, hence accordingly prepare self for getting admission in government Engineering College.

Hello,
I am afraid, I have not understood your query. Yes, there are many exams that you can give after completion of your Diploma but then on the other hand for giving many other exams graduation is required. You would also find this information on the eligibility criteria of the exam that you intend to give. Best wishes to you.

As far as I know, you cannot do so as per AICTE rule. If anyone offers you B.Tech through correspondence that means your degree will be valid. So please be careful about your career. You can also visit my YouTube page I have a video on engineering (civil), you should watch that.
