Diploma in Travel and Tourism course is a short term Diploma course which is designed to equip students with the practical knowledge and skills required to build a career in  travel, tourism, and hospitality industries.

The course focuses on fields such as travel management, tour management, tour operations, customer service, airline ticketing, tourism marketing and many such tasks. 

A Diploma holder can get admission to B.Tech 2nd year (lateral entry) in colleges affiliated with Kurukshetra University by applying through Haryana State Technical Education Society official site, usually based on Diploma marks or the LEET exam. However, NIT Kurukshetra does not offer lateral entry. If you want admission there, you must appear for JEE Main and apply as a regular candidate for 1st-year B.Tech through JoSAA counselling, as Diploma marks are not considered.

Yes, you can seek direct admission into the second year of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme at both KJ Somaiya College of Engineering and Thakur College of Engineering and Technology after completing a Diploma in CSE.

To be eligible for a Diploma at the Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Healthcare in Navi Mumbai, candidates must have completed Class 12 in the Science stream or be a graduate in any other stream, and be at least 17 years old at the time of joining the course. 

RAGC DAhisar offers various specialisations in the After 10 Diploma course, these specialisations are:

The eligibility criteria that the candidates must meet to be eligible to apply to the After 10 Diploma course at RAGC Dahisar is that candidates must have completed their Class 10 from a recognised board. Candidates wishing to apply must do the same through the online application form that is available on the official website. The application form fee is INR 300 for the Class 10 Diploma courses.

Institute of Event Management offers UG Diploma courses in Event Management. The duration of the programme is 11 months. Students can enroll for the programme directly on the college's official website. Those who passed Class 10 are eligible to apply for admission to the programme.

LIMCA Cosmetology School offers UG Diploma in two courses. The courses are Diploma in Clinical Cosmetology and Diploma in Permanent Makeup. The UG Diploma programmes are a month to six months long, depending on the specialisation chosen. Candidates applying for admission in the UG Diploma programmes should note that the Diploma is central government recognised and can be used to practice cosmetology wherever the student chooses.
