Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur does not provide lateral entry entrance to its B.Tech programme for students holding any diploma. The eligibility criteria based on 10+2 marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths will be followed for a direct admission process in JEE Main to VNIT. However, as a Diploma holder from Madhya Pradesh, you can look into state-level engineering colleges or universities where you can join the B.Tech course through lateral entry. Actually there is no minimum cutoff for diploma in Computer Engineering at Panimalar Polytechnic College, Chennai.
And to the eligibility for the course you must have to pass 10th class (SSLC/Matriculation) examination or equivalent qualification from any recognised board or council.
