Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur does not provide lateral entry entrance to its B.Tech programme for students holding any diploma. The eligibility criteria based on 10+2 marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths will be followed for a direct admission process in JEE Main to VNIT. However, as a Diploma holder from Madhya Pradesh, you can look into state-level engineering colleges or universities where you can join the B.Tech course through lateral entry. You may opt for Diploma to Degree (D2D) counseling process carried out by the concerned state technical education board for the right alternatives.

Hii!  The School of Engineering and Technology at NIU does offer scholarships for various courses, including the Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering. However, a 100% scholarship is typically awarded based on exceptional academic performance, entrance exam scores, or specific criteria set by the university. You may also find scholarships for economically weaker sections or merit-based awards.

Good luck with your studies!

Hello! For the Diploma in Computer Engineering at Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology, the admission process primarily depends on merit, and the cutoff is based on the marks you obtained in your qualifying exams (typically 10th grade). Since the exact cutoff can change each year depending on factors like the number of applicants and their performance, it's a good idea to keep an eye on the official announcements from the institute. Generally, a minimum of 35% in your SSC exams is required, but the final cutoff will depend on the overall competition.

I Will recommend reaching out to the college's admission office for the most up-to-date

In the DTU LEET (Delhi Technological University Lateral Entry Entrance Test) for CSE (Computer Science Engineering), Physics and Chemistry are typically not included for Diploma students. The subjects generally covered in the exam for lateral entry students are:

  1. Mathematics
  2. Engineering Mechanics
  3. Computer Science & Engineering Basics (such as Data Structures, Programming Languages)
  4. Basic Electrical Engineering

The focus is more on technical subjects related to the engineering discipline, especially computer science, rather than basic sciences like Physics and Chemistry.
