If you are not able to get admission in your state, you should apply in CIPET, Chennai for lateral entry. It is the best option after Diploma in plastic mold technology.

Diploma is 2 year or 1 year course. Graduation is 3 year course. So, if your course of Diploma which you wanted to do is 2 year course, you have to complete 1st year. Any institute or university don't gave admission in directly 2nd year.

Hello Himanshu,
A few people are there who can maintain their courage after a long gap like you. No need to worry about your graduation (B.Tech or AMIE), because Diploma is also a technical course which you have done earlier. It will be best for you, if you go for a regular degree, number of colleges and universities are there, which offer admission on merit bases, so you can get admission easily. Don't loose hope in any condition, it will be a little bit though due to a long gap but slowly and slowly you will be on track. Just keep in touch with books and carry on. Best of luck.
