Muslim is not your cast, rather religion. Please be clear. apply through DTE you may apply to Muslim minority institute where 50% seats are reserved for Muslim community and will make it easier for you to get admission. You should give preference to reputation of institute also.

I suggest you to do intermediate MPC and study well in it, then write up JEE Main and come to NIT to do B.Tech. Once you take science, you cannot come to B.Tech and Diploma is also another option for you.

NITs will not offer Diploma, they only offer Bachelor's degree and Master's degree. Try for some Hyderabad Universities or college like CBIT, VASAVI etc.

Now -a-days, IT is developing day by day. The world is getting digitalized. It is one of the best courses to have. If you are good in understanding coding programming and all, then it is definitely best for you. There are so many scopes for it.

If you wish to gain insight on various other fields that are in some ways connected to your field of interest you should look out for 11th and 12th preferably in computer science(bifocal). However, if you only wish to focus on your subject keeping away of others Diploma would be a better choice for you.
