After diploma in eng. you cannot go for any management postgraduate. Rather you can enroll into graduation of management or you have to pursue degree in engineering. Mmeans you have to be graduate first.

You can apply for B.Tech in any branch bit you have to clear an entrance test however some colleges also offer lateral entry to second year B.Tech. Generally 60% or first division in s required for lateral entry but some colleges may ask for 70 or 75% marks for lateral admission in BTech second year.
