After finishing graduation, graduates become eligible for the Temporary Graduate VISA (Subclass 485) under the Graduate Work System. The VISA allows international graduates to stay in the country and work for about 18 months to 2 years, as per their field of study. But students must make sure that their Diploma programme is eligible as per the Skilled Occupation List (SOL). Bachelor's and Master's degrees are more eligible for the Post Study Work Stream. But a Diploma graduate may still get benefits if their streams align with demands in areas such as management, HR, or administration.
