No, you generally cannot pursue a full-time BTech degree and a Diploma at the same time as they often conflict with attendance requirements, but you can do a BTech via lateral entry like joining 2nd year after Diploma in another college or pursue a part-time or online BTech alongside a Diploma to gain both degrees. The most common path is finishing the Diploma first, then using lateral entry for B.Tech in Bangalore colleges.

Students can give the agricet exam, even if they are in their final semester while doing a diploma. They must finish the Diploma before admission starts, to show proof during counselling. It lets more students try for the AGRICET exam. They just need to meet the final document check.
