B.Tech is a 4-year undergraduate engineering course. It is basically for the students who have done B.Sc. Or Diploma in Engineering can direct get admission in the 2nd year of B.Tech course if they want to pursue B.Tech.

Candidates who have qualified for a Degree of this University or any other University recognised by UGC/AIU accepted as equivalent thereto by this University under 10 + 2 + 3 (or) 11 + 1 + 3 (or) 11 + 2 + 2 pattern are eligible for admission to the Diploma Courses.

If you have to become a script writer, you have to get some knowledge in Screen play and storyboard for a scene making. So, you have to choose a course like visual communication and mass media even journalism sometimes. Congrats! You got good percentage in your Diploma course. Yes, there is huge probability that you should get any government colleges in merit quota. Kindly, Go through the list of top colleges like Anna university (CEG, MIT, etc. ). And its affiliated colleges so that you can get government quota which is highly beneficial.
