International students willing to pursue a Diploma in business and management must meet certain eligibility criteria to be selected by the universities. Students also need to submit certain documents, such as a valid passport, English language proficiency proof and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), and a statement of purpose showing intent of study in Australia. Additionally, the student visa also allows students to work up to 48 hours per fortnight during study terms and full-time during holidays or semester breaks. The entire visa process may take up to 4 - 8 weeks.

After finishing graduation, graduates become eligible for the Temporary Graduate VISA (Subclass 485) under the Graduate Work System. The VISA allows international graduates to stay in the country and work for about 18 months to 2 years, as per their field of study. But students must make sure that their Diploma programme is eligible as per the Skilled Occupation List (SOL). Bachelor's and Master's degrees are more eligible for the Post Study Work Stream. But a Diploma graduate may still get benefits if their streams align with demands in areas such as management, HR, or administration. To apply, students must have completed at least two years of study in Australia, must have health insurance, and must meet the English language requirements.
