No, you can not apply for NIT Arunachal Pradesh as a distance education student as the institute does not offer any of its courses through distance mode. The undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral rogrammes offered at the institute are all provided through regular or part-time (for PhD) mode. Hence, one can not apply for the programmes as a distance education students. Students can however, check out various other colleges and insitutes offering the same. For further NIT Arunachal Pradesh admission related details, students can visit the official website of the institute or connect with the admission help desk of the same.

The syllabus structure of Distance BCA and regular BCA are more or less the same. The subjects in Distance BCA syllabus are determined by the educational institutes as per UGC recommendations and guidelines. If your institute is recognised by UGC then its syllabus will be inline with the guidelines. The three year course is divided into 6 semesters. You will study theoretical subjects, practical subjects and perform project work in the final year of the course. This course framework will be the same in all colleges.

Yes you can pursue Distance BCA course after completing Class 12 in Arts stream. Unlike, engineering courses Distance BCA is open to all irrespective of your stream in class 12 This means students from Arts stream, Commerce stream and Science stream can pursue his course. But as a student of Arts stream you may have to change your method of study while pursuing this course as this is a technical course. If you have studied Computer Science or IP as subjects in classes 11 and 12 then you will find it easier to study Distance BCA subjects.
