It's very nice to see that you are interested in doing graduation in engineering via distance education mode. But I am afraid that this route is now stopped. UGC has issued instructions to all universities that no professional course should be offered via distance mode. Perhaps you can choose to do AMIE which is equivalent to graduation in engineering. West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) conducts the JEXPO and VOCLET entrance examinations for the various Diploma Polytechnic courses in Engineering and Technology. WBSCTE JEXPO and VOCLET is held for the candidates seeking admission in various Polytechnic Colleges/Institutions of State of West Bengal. JEXPO is conducted for the First Year of Diploma courses in Engineering & Technology and VOCLET for the Second Year of Diploma courses in Engineering & Technology. So from above JEXPO and VOCLET are for admission in regular Diploma courses, Hence you can not do distance Diploma courses through these tests.

Don't go for Masters through distance mode. It will not having much value in future. For information about validity of degree check the accreditation of university.
