No Master of Arts (M.A.) in psychology is offered by Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU). For individuals interested in carrying out more advanced studies and research in psychology, the university offers a research-based Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Psychology. A Master's degree in psychology or a related discipline is typically a prerequisite for entry into this program. Working professionals can be assisted by the convenience offered by YCMOU's M.Phil. programme via distance learning.

BMS Centre for Executive Education and Distance Learning (BMSCEEDL) maintains a strong reputation across Bangalore because it provides flexible learning options to working professionals. The executive programs at BMS Centre for Executive Education and Distance Learning stand out but its placement against other Bangalore distance learning institutions relies on the combination of teaching programs and faculty? and industrial ties and academic recognition. The search for top institutions in Bangalore should also include IGNOU and Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) and Jain University Online programs.
