Distance MBA is valid for PhD. Just ensure your Distance institute in under the affiliation of UGC board and DDE board. The degrees provided by these education boards are valid as same as a regular MBA degree. To qualify for PhD minimum percentage is needed in MBA to qualify. It is possible to get admission if the distance MBA is from a recognised board.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) or Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) are both management courses at Masters level. Both the courses have a commercial orientation and it's difficult to differentiate between the two. MBA and PGDM are both business orientated courses.The main aim of the courses is to equip a person who wants to move up in the hierarchy and enter in to the management field, says Shiksha expert Nikhilesh Mathur. The college offers Diploma in mechanical engineering course. It is three years full time Diploma course.
Admission criteria: The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognised board. Selection will be based as per the university norms and the total fees structure is 27,000.
