I suggest you to pursue BBA which is about business administration, it is for 3 years and you will be studying about various aspects of business. You also have option to specialise. I suggest you to do MBA after BBA you will have a proper idea on what specialisations you what you career to move

Normally, all open or distance universities have two sessions in a year. Jan to Jun & Jul to Dec. A student can commence his studies from any of these two sessions.

Acharya Nagarjuna University Centre for Distance Education provides Journalism course through distance elarning mode only. So yes, if you enrol with the course, you will be studying via distance mode only.
