Hello Abhishek, You have not mentioned as to about which university you were talking about. However I will try to answer your query. Normally all open or distance universities have brochure cum application form available online. I would advise you to download such brochure from your intended University. This will have all the required information.

Dear Ananth,
You will have to properly appear from the 1st year as it will not be considered as continuing education by the university. However, if you still have some doubts, than, it is advisable to directly get in touch with the university for further details. I hope this would suffice.
All the best and God bless you.

Dear Avjit, you can choose either of the course. There is no difference between the two. In the past autonomous institutions were not allowed to provide a degree in management. Therefore, they used to run the course in the name of PGDM or PGDBM. Only the institutions affiliated to a university were allowed to provide a degree of MBA. Even IIM's provided diplomas. However, recently the government has made the changes into the law and now you can get MBA degree. I hope this would suffice. All the best and God bless you.

You can try distance university like IGNOU who provide B.Ed distance course which is recognised by UGC and other educational boards. The degree from any distance board recognised are equal to the one of a normal degree. Choose the right institution and pursue your studies ahead. Pune has regional centre of IGNOU you just have to apply online and you will receive all your Study Materials through the regional centre and you will have to give the exams in the study centre. It is an easy process. Hope this is clear. I would be happy to clear any more doubts from your end.
Thank you.

You can apply but some colleges wouldn't consider you for admission post CAT as they have their own rule and regulations.
