KSOU offers hostel accommodation for men with a nominal fee of INR 50 per head on day. It has 7 hostels comprising 3 rooms. Nine students are allowed to stay in 1 hostel. KSOU also has a guesthouse available for academicians. It has 75 rooms, well-equipped with modern amenities and a good ambience. The guesthouse is just a 5-minute walk away from the academic block.

The BTech application deadline has not been announced by the KSOU. However, the application form for the BTech programme is available on the official website. The selection of candidates is based on their performance in the last qualifying exam. Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the requisite eligibility criteria.

As of now, the KSOU has not released any application deadline for the MBA programmes. However, interested candidates can visit the official website to apply for their course specialisation. The university has not specified the application deadline related to the MA programme. However, the admissions are expected to begin soon for the academic year 2025. Currently, KSOU is not accepting admission for MTech. However, the KSOU M.Tech admissions are expected to commence soon. Karnataka State Open University BCom admission is merit-based. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the qualifying exams. They must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from other recognised Boards to get admission to the BCom programme. Upon selection aspirants, must submit the required documents for verification along with the applicable admission fee.
