Instead of distance learning, I would suggest you to go for online courses as that will give you constant guidance. You may search some courses online and get yourself enrolled for it.

Universities usually look for full time Bachelors degree qualifications. Distance learning is not considered valid by universities abroad.

Please drop an email to a few universities before you apply. Any distance education program approved by UGC is recognized but it will be wise if you check directly with the universities. They might require a further degree evaluation.

The correspondence courses are good for subject exposure, but not so good to get a job.

Yes, you can get admission. Diploma and open learning, both are valid.

Distance degree has not much value as compare to full time course. But, if you considering government job, then it is okay.
