Yes, you can opt for PGDFM through distance mode. Although there are certain other career oriented courses available. There are certain career options for you after doing:
1. MBA in Finance.
2. Cost and Management.
3. Accounting Chartered.
4. Financial Analysis.
5. Chartered Accountancy.
6. Company Secretary Course.
You can also do:
1. Doctor of Business.
2. Ph.D (Management), etc. for the depth knowledge.
Otherwise, you can also appear for the competitive exam conducted by certain departments. There are certain Colleges / Institutes providing quality education and better placement services to the students.

To become a registered dietitian, a student must earn a bachelor's degree and complete an internship program approved by the American Dietetic Association's (ADA) Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). He or she must then pass CDR's national Registration Examination for Dietitians.
Some schools offer bachelor's degree programs in dietetics that allow students to complete online coursework while fulfilling internship requirements at a facility near their home. Often called coordinated dietetics programs, these academic offerings typically feature coursework that mirrors that of on-campus programs.
In regards to your question, whether there is any difference in Correspondence and Regular course, i would say it varies from one subject to the other also from one degree to the other. However in general a course through distance learning does not have as much value as the regular one so if you can do a regular course, it would hold a lot of importance and thus be a much better option.
The acceptability and recognition of a full time course is higher in industry and the long term career gains are good. Correspondence courses are ideally meant for those who are working and cannot leave their jobs to further their education. It is only to leverage ones experience and not so much as a stand alone degree. The employ-ability of a full time degree holder is the most and those with a distance education degree may face a drawback as far as employment options with MNCs are concerned. However, what is also relevant is your experience; skills and profile should match the profile needed for the job and organization. Thus it would be best for you to pursue a full time course.
