dMAT Exam

Yes. dMAT exam is specifically introduced and required by APS India for Indian students. Currently, it applies exclusively to Indian applicants with a UG degree in fields like Engineering, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business/Management for the Summer Semester 2027 intake and later  

Registration for the dMAT exam must be done by visiting the official dMAT portal. Applicants will be required to register on the portal hosted by g.a.s.t and then fill in their details later. Applicants must make sure that all of their details including the spellings of their names match with the details on their passports.

The dMAT exam fees Germany are EUR 150 - which turns out to be INR 16,542.75 as per today's exchange rate. 

The dMAT score and certificate are released 16 days after the exam date.

The overall dMAT exam score is calculated by adding scores of both Core and Subject modules. 

The dMAT score certificate shows your results on two scales:

1. Percentile rank
2. Overall dMAT score

If you miss the deadline, you will not be allowed to sit for the September exam. You will have to wait for the next expected test sitting in Q1 2027. It will delay your APS certificate and university applications for the Summer 2027 intake.

The deadline for dMAT exam is 15 September 2026. There is no late application window or on the spot booking at test centres. Complete the dMAT registration before the deadline.
