No, IIT-Chennai no longer accepts the scores of MAT exam for the admission process of its full-time MBA programme. It's difficult if you are a general category student. Normally, the cut-off is more than 75 percentile for NIT, Trichy. You will get a call for GD and PI, but it's difficult to get admission with this percentile.

Regular candidates should possess a valid score in the Common Admissions Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management. IIT graduates who obtained a CGPA of 8 and above on 10 are exempted from CAT score. Their shortlisting will be based on a composite score with due weights to applicants CAT score, past academic performance, industry experience and gender.

Hi Arshad,
Yes, the eligibility is to have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks.
However, you need to clear CAT exam to get admission for MBA at IIIT DoMs.

Hi Arul,
No, IIT Madras DOMS does not accept XAT scores. It accepts only CAT scores as IIMs.
