1st year subjects are common for all branches.
In 2nd year- circuit theory, digital logic circuits measurement and instrumentation, electron devices and circuits, electromagnetic theory etc.
In 3rd year- power electronics, microprocessor and microcontroller, renewable energy system, embedded system etc.
In 4th year- protection and switchgear, FACTS, smart grid etc.

In 2023, CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) was generally considered as the leading course due to its high demand and more job opportunities in the tech industry as compared to EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) and ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering).

Both colleges have their own stats and ratings which are not so variable.
The best for you can be decided by your interest.
If you want to focus on Data science, AI and machine methodology then you should choose Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (AIDS).
If you want to learn principals of core electric engineering and power systems and automation then you should choose PSG College of Technology (EEE).

The highest package for IIT Bhilai BTech EE placements stood at INR 28 LPA for placements 2023. The placements for 2025 season for BTech EE branch is not available since it is ongoing. The total tuition fee for BE in EEE at Acharya College is INR 684000. The course offers 60 students. The admission process is entrance-based for courses offered at UG and PG levels. Some of the popular exams accepted by the institution for admission are GATE, KCET, and COMEDK UGET, etc.

BIT Mesra has a placement cell and the students have to undergo many activities like resume writing, interview training etc. to be placed in different companies.
- Talking about placement, the placement report reveals the fact that there is a constant rise in the maximum salary offered to the students year by year. The highest package was INR 35 LPA for the graduating batch of EEE students for the year 2021-22 which was extended by Tower Research.
- Many PSUs like Power Grid, ONGC, CPRI also visit BIT Mesra to hire EEE students with reasonable salary packages offered between 10- 20 Lacs per annum.
