Hello Suraj Sutradhar, you need to appear for JEE Advanced before admission process starts for even NIT's. JoSAA is the agency that processes the whole process of admissions into IIT's, NIT's, GFTI's & IIIT's. You need not appear for JEE Advanced if you do not intend to bid for admission in any of the IIT, but definitely need to appear for it if you intend to do so. Best wishes to you.

Hello Srishti Garg, these days raw marks do not count. What matters is the percentile. Only national testing agency will be able to tell you the percentile since they only have the data that enables calculation of the percentile. Since almost every student gives computer Science as the first choice, cutoffs in this branch are really stiff. You need to be in top bracket of percentile to get the branch of your dreams. If you get less percentile in this session, I would strongly advise you to go in for next two sessions of JEE Mains to improve on your performance. Best wishes to you.

You have not mentioned your category and state. With 77 percentile it is very difficult to get seat in NITs/ IIITs/GFTIs. However, you may still apply for state counselling to get seat in Private colleges through state counselling. Based on the information available in your profile we consider that you belong to Maharashtra. Considering the previous year cut off you have chances of getting seat in the following colleges based on JEE Main score :
P. K Technical Campus, Pune :Civil. CSMSS Chh. Shahu College of Engineering, Aurangabad:CSE. Pune District Education Association's College of Engineering, Pune : ETE. Shree L. R Tiwari College
...more

Yes, a student can prepare for IIT and NEET at the same time. If you are good in Math and Biology and not able to decide whether to Target JEE or NEET you can take PCMB and do simultaneous preparation for both the exams. There are students in the past who have cleared JEE and NEET in the Same year.
