IIT JEE 2020 will be harder, as this time NTA has changed the Exam Pattern. Aspirants appearing for both the sessions will get benefited. Likewise, previous years timing will be same 3 hours for JEE Mains 2020 Exam, but the number of questions has been reduced. It is bit ironical and makes the thing suspicious. Now, the questions have been reduced, so the marks. Now, the fight is for 300 instead of 360. If we talk about the guess or luck factor in the exam, its probability has also been reduced for 20% marks i.e. 60 marks with the introduction of integer type question. Thanks.

In addition to this, each institute is assessed by students differently and hence closing ranks differ widely. The analysis of this year's closing ranks should be out shortly. As percentile is going to be the criteria in coming years too, I feel that the results of this analysis are going to be quite relevant in coming years. Best wishes to you.

I think there is a misconception about to appear for JEE Main January and JEE Main April. Both are two different attempts. It totally depends on the candidate and his convenience. If he/she wants to appear for either of the session or both. While we talk about getting failed in a session, so pass and fail result will be declared after April session considering the best performance out of the two sessions. That is the main reason why it is conducted in 2 sessions
Now one more thing, Change of JEE Main pattern is about change in number of questions, change in total marks, introduction of integer type questions in the examination and
