The major update about JEE Mains 2020 is as fellow-
The registrations which were scheduled from 2nd sept 2019 started a day late from 3rd sept 2019. Moreover, NTA JEE Main released the information bulletin which disclosed the changes in exam pattern and marking scheme. Now JEE Mains Exam is of 300 marks (Paper 1)
Number of questions have been decreased. Now there will be only 75 questions instead of 90 to be solved within 3 hours. Icing on the cake, which I know many students would not like is the addition of 5 questions NAT I. e. their answer would be a numerical value. Hope it helps.

Many candidates have these type of doubts when they register themselves for the JEE Mains exam for the first time. Therefore, it would be better to check the complete procedure first. The online application can be divided into three main stages as given below: -
Stage 1: Filling JEE Main Online Application Form.
Stage 2: Uploading Photo and Signature in IIT JEE Mains 2020 Form.
Stage 3: Making Online JEE Main 2020 Registration Fee Payment. So, follow these three stages and get yourself registered for the exam.
