Yes, it is compulsory to download GATE hall ticket. It is because, the admit card of GATE carries complete information regarding applicant and exam. Some important information are paper code, exam date and time, name, signature, photograph, etc. Also, it is mandatory to carry hall ticket to centre. Candidates are advised to keep their admit card safe till the admission counselling process.

Candidates can download their GATE admit card 2026 as many times as they want till the completion of the admission process. In short, the admit card link will remain activated till the availability of the GATE scorecard. Candidates can visit the GOAPS portal and download using their credentials.

No, the GATE application form is not required while reporting to the exam centre. However, candidates must carry their application form printout at the time of the counselling process. It will be required during the document verification process. Therefore, candidates must keep multiple copies of the registration form.

GATE marks is the actual marks obtained by candidate. It is calculated out of 100. On other hand, GATE scores are calculated out of 1000 using a formula of GATE normalisation process.

The fees for challenging GATE answer key was INR 500. The last date to raise objection was Feb 28. The accepted mode of payment are netbanking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.
