It is good, but IIT Jammu is still new. So, you can't expect that much placements as expected from normal IITS like Delhi Roorkee etc.

EWS ranking will be done amongst all the EWS aspirants on the basis of their score. If there is a tie, it would be broken down in the favor of the aspirant who is younger in age.

The chances are low, wait till the last counselling round for electrical engineering. But meanwhile if you get any other good branch pursue that.

JEE Advanced Exam is available in English and Hindi languages. The exam is conducted in two phases: Paper 1- MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) and Paper 2- Numerical Answer Type Questions. Duration of the exam is 3 hours each. The exam consists of three sections: Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. JEE Advanced Exam will now be conducted next year in the month of May 2020. Just go for fire and safety. Placements are very good there.

12 months is sufficient for JEE Mains.

Without JEE Mains, you cannot get IITS or NITS and for other colleges try their websites.
