Hi Vishal,The cut off for admission in the Naval Architecture and Ship Building branch in CUSAT in the NRI category was a general merit rank around 10,000. Considering this, you would require a rank around this at least for a fair chance of admission. You can check Shiksha website for more information. Best of luck.

If you are looking at doing Masters or PG, CUSAT is definitely better that CET. I work very closely with Academics and personally believe that academic freedom to design courseware for the quality of their students is something that is needed to impart good quality education. To get enrolled into MBA program you need to clear MBA entrance exams like CAT, MAT. GATE exam is required for the M.Tech studies and not for MBA studies. 50 percent is the minimum eligibility in Bachelor’s degree to be eligible for the entrance exam.

Hi Ranjan,
You need to clear GATE exam. As M.Tech could be pursued only when GATE exam is cleared and once you clear that you also become eligible for Ph.D. So you should clear GATE exam.
Good luck
