NIT Agartala JEE Main cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the All India and Home State quota categories. The cutoff was published for the first round. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 21025 to 21025. See the table below to know the round 1 cutoff range for all other AI and HS quota categories.

The total number of seats (out of 18) should be-

• 60 % (~11) for (aa) i.e B.E/B.Tech. in Engineering
• 40% (~7) for (ab) i.e M.Sc. and (ac) i.e MCA.
• During the spot round, all seats will be merged and offered to Engineering
  students (aa) first, then to MCA students (ab) and then to M.Sc. students (ac)

A common merit of GATE score be made for shortlisting. Candidates having AMIE/AMIS/AMIIChE/AMIIM/Grad IETE, who possess B.Sc. or Diploma in engineering are also eligible to apply for admission to M.Tech. courses.

For the OBC AI category, the NIT Agartala M.Tech cutoff 2026 ranged from 321 to 488 in the first round.

As per this range, the most competitive M.Tech course specialisation was Artificial Inteligence, with the cutoff being 488. On the other hand, the least competitive branch was Chemical Engineering and Instrumentation Engineering, with the cutoffs being 321 for both.

With 70 percentile in JEE Main, it is unlikely for general category students to admission in core branches of BTech at SVU. However, less popular specialisations may have lower cutoffs. If you are aiming for Computer Science/ AI & Data Science specialisations, then 70 percentile is not enough. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam takes place in the month of April every year. Whereas, the application form for Session 2 will be available on the JEE Mains website. The exam is conducted by NTA.

With a 77 percentile in JEE Main, getting into Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is possible, but the branch will depend on the admission round and seat availability.

CSE and other top branches are unlikely at this percentile, but branches like Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Biotechnology, or Electronics-related branches may still be possible in later rounds. If you're also eligible through the board-based admission route, your chances can improve.

According to the NIT Sikkim CSE cutoff 2026 for the first round, a rank of at least 8674 would be needed by the OBC AI category candidates. Students with a rank below the one mentioned here would have a better chance for admission. 

For the OBC HS quota, the maximum rank accepted for the CSE branch was 41164.

The NIT Raipur CSE cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for several All India and Home State quota categories.
