Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts the AEEE exam for BTech admission. The AEEE exam is conducted in two phases. Students can choose to take the test in any one or both phases to get AEEE rank. Yes, students may get a seat in NIT Puducherry BTech with 92 percentile in JEE Main through JoSAA counselling. The cutoff is high for specialisations, such as CSE. With NITPY being one of the top institutes and part of the NIT Tag, the cutoff is always high. But 92 percentile can be enough for later rounds of JoSAA. No, JEE Mains is not compulsory for BTech at Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth students can apply through valid scores in other entrance exams if they miss JEE Mains such as:
- KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Entrance Exam)
- CVV Entrance Exams
Though for admission through the university's CVV Entrance Exams students must also give Personal Interview rounds after being shortlisted.
