It is difficult but not impossible. Read the full answer it is detailed but getting admission during counseling rounds also depends on your caste and rank. See the last year cutoffs for various branches at NSIT. See can your rank get admission according to cutoff of last year. If you don't get NSIT don't get sad try for other good Colleges in Delhi. Fill the JoSSA form for counseling rounds. Fill the order of Colleges properly during form filling. Definitely you will get other good colleges if not NSIT. Take out the list of colleges and see there cutoffs. This helps a lot. Refer the link below for cutoffs of NSIT of all branch.

Hi Vaibhav,
First of all, you must have either a national rank below 30K or Uttrakhand domicile for GBPUAT because 85% of the total seats are reserved for Uttrakhand candidates, so to secure a seat a domicile is must . Apart from it, you can apply online for counselling, it's usually held by the end of July on the basis of your state rank (if you have a domicile) and the preferences filled you'll get a branch there are 2 online counselling rounds. After each round candidate are asked to report, if one fails to do so the seat is considered to be empty, however, there is a special 3rd round which is offline . It is known as spot round eve

As VIT-Bhopal was established in 2017, the cut-off will be low but not as low as you are mentioning. But I think you can get Bhopal or Amravati Campus. I will suggest you to see for other good colleges in your area like Jaipur or other good colleges in Bhopal, Indore and cities around you. If you have given JEE Mains then you can also go through that process. But mean while for B.Tech admissions in VIT, you are eligible they are taking rank upto 1.5 Lacs and above so you are eligible but you will get which stream it is hard to tell. Registration has started for counselling for VIT-Bhopal for ranks 100001 to 150000. Please visit the lin

Hi Aashish,
First of all, you should check of all the options that you have in your hand. If you are devoted towards IIT and you think you can do it, then you should take a drop but remember drop is really frustrating so you should have enough to manage with it. Another factor affecting it is that it has to based on your this year marks. If you score around the cut-off so you can try but you have to prepare yourself to get around 200 marks. If you think that you can get then only you should take a drop otherwise you can go for good private colleges by which you will be saving around 3 lakhs which you are going to spend in Kota and most

There are three ways through which you can get admission in DA. One through the AIR of JEE Mains or if you are a Gujarat domicile, you can get in through ACPC through GUJCET. In case you are an NRI, or anyone of your parents are NRI you can apply for admission through your SAT score. There are no other entrances conducted by the college for the UG programme.
Hope this helps.

It all depends on your AIR. Given that, you got 71% in JEE Mains, I am assuming you have a score of 255-256 which brings you a rank of around a maximum of 3K which means you have a guarantee to get in DA-IICT. The cut-off ranks are around 12K.
Hope this helps.
