For Diploma in Plastic Technology, eligible candidates need to appear for the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering andTechnology JEE (CIPET JEE) conducted by the college. Admission is through institute level counselling based on the rank obtained in Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology JEE (CIPET-JEE). For B.Tech in Plastic Engineering, mandatory subjects are Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Candidates must have secured 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

No, it's not necessary to give IIT-JEE exam. Earlier T Chanakya, MERI-Mumbai, and MERI-Kolkata were allowing entries through JEE Mains exam only. But in recent times, IMUCET is conducted for the same. IMUCET is must if you are applying for DNS & B.Tech course. You should appear for IMUCET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) and qualify for admission in maritime institutes.

Yes, according to past EAMCET result criteria all the ranks below 10,000 were given free seat irrespective of reservations. But you need to admit in the college which you have achieved in counselling.
