First of all, you must have either a national rank below 30K or Uttrakhand domicile for GBPUAT because 85% of the total seats are reserved for Uttrakhand candidates, so to secure a seat a domicile is must . First of all, you should check of all the options that you have in your hand. If you are devoted towards IIT and you think you can do it, then you should take a drop but remember drop is really frustrating so you should have enough to manage with it. Another factor affecting it is that it has to based on your this year marks. If you score around the cut-off so you can try but you have to prepare yourself to get around 200 marks.
