Admission to VJIT is tiresome, but with 80 percentile in JEE Mains and OBC-NCL category, it is not impossible to get a seat. A rank in your percentile is about between 2,17,000 and 2,40,000. It may be that some private institutions, such as VJIT, consider this rank suitable, while on the other hand, it may not be the best for top IITs and NITs.

No, you will not be able to use your JEE main session 1 application number for Session 2 if you did not upload your papers. You must still submit a fresh application for every JEE main session, even if you applied for session 1. You will need to re-register and receive a new application number for session 2.

Your OBC NCL rank 7000 in JEE Mains puts you in a favorable position for admission in the following NITs: NIT Calicut, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT kurukshetra and NIT Silchar. Another good IIIT is IIIT Sri City, Chittoor which is on par with IIIT Nagpur. Your chances at NIT Jamshedpur are good.

Students should focus on topics based on their Class 12 CBSE syllabus. The entrance test includes questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology (depending on stream), English, and Aptitude. The test format is multiple-choice and it don't have negative marking. Preparation should start early as the exam can be tricky and competitive. The application fee is INR 1200 per phase, and students can appear in more than one phase if needed to improve their score.
