Yes, you can appear for TNEA. As you have completed your HSC from other state, you may have to apply under other state quota. You can get admission based on your board exam marks and there is no entrance exam.

Yes, you are eligible for TNEA. There is a separate admission process for other state students through which you can apply. There is no entrance exam and so you can get admission with your board exam marks.

JEE Mains is one of the engineering entrance exams and so if you don't clear it, you need not drop a year. You can join any other college though board exam marks or via entrance exams.

Yes, you can apply for TNEA though other state quota which is a separate portal for other state students. The admission is based on your board exam marks and so there is no other entrance exam.
