It's upto you only as in the coaching institutes as coaching is simply meant for understanding the concepts thoroughly and it's up to you only where you feel comfortable and understand what teacher is teaching.

Getting CSE in any of the campus is difficult but by paying additional tuition fees it can be possible but it is difficult to tell what exactly their demand. But their range is some what around 1-3 Lacs per year.

Your rank will be around 5000 something and you'll get CSE core branch in VITvellore. You can get decent placements in the main branches like CS IT. You can also get super dream packages if you manage to get into top position in your bdanch which may reach upto 21 Lacs per annum and an average guy can manage upto 9 Lacs per annum with a decent job offer after graduation. At my admission time, there was only Vellore and Chennai branch two years ago and these branches are recently opened by VIT. Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000. So, you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well with each category admission fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank but there are 2nd category as well if you want CSE but you have to pay more for that.
