Brother, the syllabus of IIT and SSC are different. And you know it's an national level exam. A big competition there. In my point of view, if you want to crack IIT exam, you should prepare for that. But if you are focusing for SSC, do your best. And clear yourself that what you want to do. Don't be distracted by any other thing.

No, it's as same as JEE but TNEA is conducted by state and JEE is conducted by central and both a entrance exam.

There are less chance to get top NITs for CSE branch with 180 marks if you are from general category. If you are from SC, ST category then it may be possible to get a good NIT. In general category, you should get 220 and above marks in JEE Mains. Good luck!

Basically, the placement will depend on yourself. The more you have taken and have the skills. More you work hard and have the talent, the chance will increase. All colleges are basically same in terms of placements. Try for IITs or government colleges. Maintain your academics as well participate in extra activities too like sports, colleges events, seminar, conference, workshop, etc. It will help you to gain knowledge and experience. Best of luck.
