Hello,
Don't worry, if you are in job right now, then wait for a year, and then apply for GATE exam. On the basis of GATE marks, you can get admission and generally all colleges give admission on the basis of GATE marks, so it seems quite tough to get admission without valid GATE score. So, wait for a year and apply for GATE exam, and then apply for M.Tech Working Professional Course.

If your son want to good marks in JEE Advance, firstly he will have to qualify JEE Mains exam. For this exam, you have the basics and deepl knowledge of class 11th and class 12th Math Physics and Chemistry. You can also join the test series of any coaching classes for more questions. Good luck.

Assuming you belong to general category, you really don't have much options. You won't get anything out of JOSSA, so I would suggest you to explore your other options such as other entrance exams, such as BITSAT VITEE, SRM to get a seat in decent private college. All the best.

If you have a valid reason, it's completely fine. You just don't need to give up. It is no shame to fail, just come back stronger next time, when you get the chance. If you do well in your graduation, I don't think it would be an issue. All the best.

It depends on the number of candidates appeared, and the respective marks of all candidates. It isn't fixed, it varies. You can predict some rank depending upon previous year ranks. But it's never the same.
