Hi, to enroll into an undergraduate programme in USA, an applicant must clear the SAT or ACT. SAT subject tests are required by top ranking universities. You must also excel in extracurricular activities because universities wants to see how a student developed his profile in addition to schoolwork. JEE Mains is not required. Even if you are applying for an engineering course you must take SAT and SAT subject tests or ACT with writing. You must also take the TOEFL. For more information and specific requirements you can check university websites.
