Yes, you can get some NITs, but not the top NITs like Trichy, Warangal etc. You can get the NITs like Srinagar, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Agartala, Manipur, etc. They are not that good, but if you don't get a good college then you can study in these NITs.
You can have a brand name of NITs.
Refer the link below to know the closing and opening ranks of NITs , IIITs , GFTIs and IITs for the last year 2016:

The caste wise cut-off is given below:
1) General (OC) - 81
2) OBC- ncl-49
3) SC-32
4) ST-27
5) PWD-1.
If you scored these marks, as per your caste then you can write JEE Advanced. But, this year the JEE Advanced exam got over. So, if you have qualified JEE Mains, you need to apply for JOSAA counselling at www.josaa.nic.in after the results of JEE Advanced.

Your board exam percentage must be at least 75%. Even if you get 360/360 in JEE main exam, if your board exam percentage is not at least 75%, then you cannot get any pursue.
This is the same for IITs. You can try for IIIT, Hyderabad as they prefer only JEE Mains marks.

Your board exam's percentage must be at least 75% to get NITs and IITs. As you scored only 72%, you are not eligible to get admission in any pursue. Even if your score is good in JEE Mains, you cannot get admission.
