With your board's result, you can only try in private colleges. You can only get admission into good college, if you have taken any competitive examination.

Hello Himanshu,
To get admission in Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), your board exam marks are only considered. For that, you are advised to apply for counselling under Anna University.

Just go through the counselling of JEE Mains or AKTU. You will get the college but please be sure about the branch which you are going to opt. Choose whatever you like and don't be burdened by your family's choice.

Your score in 12th is really good. Composite score which will formed will be moderate. If you are willing to go till the last rounds in the admission process you might get a good college in engineering. Opting out for Commerce will change your whole stream(field). Though there is no harm in doing that but it will be a little difficult for you to cope up if compared with a regular commerce student.

It's really difficult. I would recommend you to try in good private colleges or take a drop.

With low mains cut-off this year and higher intake of college, you can get admission. The best probable branches would be Electronics or Mechanical.
