Although both the CAT and the JEE Mains are a combination of assessments; they each use a different types of questions for each exam. The CAT exam asked questions about verbal ability, reading comprehension, data interpretation, logical reasoning, and quantitative reasoning. The questions tested reasoning and composed analytical and problem-solving questions that needed to be completed within a given time frame. A score of 71 in COMEDK UGET is considered a moderate score.
- Based on previous marks vs rank trends, one can expect a COMEDK rank around 20,000 to 25,000.
- You may not get top-tier colleges like RVCE or BMSCE for core branches like CSE or ECE, but you can still get admission in decent private engineering colleges in Karnataka, possibly for branches like Civil, Mechanical, or IT.
- Backup plan - Participate in all rounds of COMEDK counselling and keep backup options open like KCET or other private exams.
