Hi Kumar,
Since the cut-off of JEE advance is around 75 for general and 67 for OBC students, if you got something closer to 140, you will end up with any good IIT, and even a better branch. Your rank will be less than 6000.

Hi aditi,
Admission in RV and Ramiah is on the basis of COMEDK exam, and MIT Pune fills its seat via MHCET and JEE Mains exam. Since these colleges have management quota seats you may get admission in them easily, but need to talk to the college management very soon.

Hi Suyash,
Since this year cut-off seems to lie around 100-105. So, you will easily qualify for JEE Mains. On the basis of your marks, you may not get any reputed college, start looking forward for JEE advance and other exams that are lined up.

Hi Srira,
Admission in all of the IITs and NITs are done through the centralised counselling JOSAA. You cannot apply separately. And for IISC, you need to apply for it separately.

If you have to study engineering in good colleges of the country, try once more after preparing for another year. It may sound ridiculous to sit at home and study for another year but trust me it can give you a better chance. If dropping a year is not your option, you can get admission in some less known private colleges. If you want any further information contact me with your field of interest. Food technology can be a very promising course given you have interest in the same. You have a very rather good marks expectations in JEE. Try the official joint counselling. You might get a decent college. Biotechnology itself is rather a new subject in India. Food technology is just one part of it. Medical Biotechnology Microbiology etc are also parts of it. Yes, it's a fact of life that not all have resources. But have faith in yourself & determination. What is actually required us perseverance and sincere efforts at studies. There are many students who do not join any class but pass & there are plenty of students who take coaching classes but still do not pass. Study regularly seek guidance from your teachers and I am sure you will pass.
