Engineering Entrance Exam

Don't worry, IIT is not for all my friend. You can get admission in other state or government college by giving the entrance exam or many private college such as SRM, KIIT, Manipal, Sathyabhama, MIT, GLA, Amity, LPU, Avantika, as all are university and many more.

Engineering entrance exams like JEE Mains is mainly based on CBSE. About 60-70 percent of its syllabus includes class 12th course and the rest from 11th. If you had prepared well for your 12th boards your more than half of the syllabus is covered, now all you need to do is brush through your 11th course and give tests. Sit for 3 hours and give practice tests.
How so ever you study all that matters is what you do in those 3 hours so for that you need to practice within a time limit. Try to solve papers or questions within a certain time limit. And keep yourself focused and peaceful while writing your exams.

No, you can't but you can try for another engeneering state exam.

For SC and ST, it will be 45.
For OBC, it will be 68 and for General category, it will be 100.

Admissions in DTU or NSIT depends on your All India Rank in JEE Mains. Also, DTU/NSIT have an 85% reservation for Delhities. Ranks vary immensely for a Delhite and a non delhite.Which stream do you wish to pursue? For a Delhite at NSIT, you must have a rank around 2k to get in CS, 8k for IT, 14k for ECE, 20k for ME, 24k for ICE, 30k for MPAE, 35k for BT. Since this time your rank depends purely on mains score and not cbse score so it is difficult to predict your rank. Once your ranks are out you can compare it with the ranks given here.

These days OBC students are scoring quite well in exams. Therefore, try to score max. If you can get 90% in boards then why not at least 80% in JEE Mains? Have positive attitude for exam on coming weekend.
