Yes, you would be eligible for IIT even if you take more than one attempt to clear your 12th but have managed to score more than 75% provided and of course that you meet DOB and other criteria too.

In Maharashtra, all admissions are based on MHT CET. However, private colleges are allowed some management quota which is outside this. Please be advised to contact the college directly for the same.

No exam is difficult or easy. If you study after making plan for it, that becomes easier. However, presently JEE Mains is not a universal exam for entry in engineering colleges. It depends on your state, etc.

Like for any exam, please follow the tips as given. Perseverance, hard work, dedication are important. Assign time for each subject everyday. Assign time for exercise and yoga everyday. Assign some time for entertainment as well. Take mock test every week. Brush up weak topics. That's all. Of course most importantly, have faith in yourself.

Compartment means that you have not passed in that subject. 75% marks in PCM are counted when CBSE or your state board declares you as passed in that exam. As far as JEE Mains is concerned, passing 12th in more than one attempt is allowed if you have scored 75% finally.

All engineering colleges do not consider JEE Mains marks for admission in B.Tech. Some universities and state use their own engineering entrance examination score for admission. You need to book your slot for VIT entrance examination. In slot booking, you need to select your examination centre. This is done on a First come first serve basis. If you fail to book the slot, the college will assign a slot based on their own discretion, which cannot be changed. Once you have successfully selected the slot, within the next 24 - 36 hours, you will be able to download the admit card from the VIT website.
