Your chances of getting into top NITs is difficult. But still there are NITs which accept this rank .

NIT Jalandhar does accept this rank but getting into CSE branch is difficult as the past closing rank was around 19000. You can can get B.Tech Electrical Engineering, B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech Instrumentation & Control Engineering, B.Tech Chemical Engineering, B.Tech Civil Engineering, B.Tech Industrial & Production Engineering, B.Tech Biotechnology, B.Tech Textile Technology.

Admission in IIT Patna is based on JEE Advanced scores. To get into IIT Patna, candidates need to acquire rank between 404 and 1489. If we analyse the JEE Advanced cutoff for the ST AI category in 2024, we can say that the it is possible to get into the institute with 1200, but for limited courses such as B.Tech. in Chemical Science and Technology,  B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering, etc. Candidates can find below the courses available at 1200 rank:

As per the IIT Patna JEE Advanced cutoff 2024, a candidate belonging to SC AI category must have a rank between 681 and 3075. To get into top BTech courses like Computer Science and Engineering,  Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and Mathematics and Computing Engineering, a SC AI category candidate need to acquire a rank of 681, 1021, and 1187, respectivley, in 2024.
