Engineering Entrance Exam

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. Generally you will be appearing for GATE examination in your basic degree. For example, mechanical engineers appear for GATE in mechanical engineering.
The GATE examination consists of a single paper of 3-hour duration that contains 65 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks. The question paper will consist of both multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. The examination for all the papers is carried out in an online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode where the candidates will be shown the questions in a random sequence on a computer screen.

The improvement form will be available at the end of August and first week of September on official website of CBSE from where you can fill the improvement form. You will give the improvement exam in all the subjects or that subject in which you got less marks or it's your choice which subjects you want to apply then you have to take print out of e-challan and keep a xerox of e-challan with youself. After this, you have to take print out of confirmation page which you will get after when e-challan payment update on CBSE website and then you have to send the confirmation page, xerox copy of e-challan and xerox copy of 12th result to the regional office. In February, you will get the admit card which you have to print it out from CBSE website.
